FOUNDER'S STORY

The Story Behind Buying2Give was born from a simple but powerful question:

“Why are so many charities struggling financially while billions of dollars flow through global online commerce every day?”

After decades spent mentoring youth, serving communities, and working internationally, Peter (Pappy) Young saw firsthand how many non-profit organizations were trapped in exhausting cycles of fundraising, uncertainty, and limited financial resources.

At the same time, affiliate marketing was generating billions of dollars globally — yet very little of that revenue was reaching the charities and vulnerable communities doing the hardest work.

Peter believed there had to be a better way.

Drawing on a lifetime of service, leadership, and social advocacy, he created Buying2Give — a platform and movement designed to redirect everyday consumer spending into sustainable community funding opportunities.

The vision is simple: Everyday purchases can help create extraordinary social impact.

Rather than relying solely on donations, Buying2Give seeks to build ongoing revenue systems that allow charities, community organisations, and social projects to become more financially sustainable over the long term.

For Peter, Buying2Give is more than a business idea.

It is part of a lifelong mission to help create: greater fairness, stronger communities, global cooperation, and a more compassionate world.

He believes that when people work together with truth, justice, charity, and freedom at the centre of their actions, real and lasting change becomes possible.
